Once a mortgagee has a Writ of Possession, the sheriff enforces it on a set date. We make sure everything around that day is in place, so the lender has a secured property and a clear report by the end of it.
What we do
- Confirm the date, time and special instructions with the lender or lawyer
- Book and confirm the locksmith, and security when needed
- Prepare the notice package required for the day
- Attend with the sheriff and secure the property once possession is given
- Change locks, install a lockbox and check utilities
- Notify the lender and lawyer the same day, with a full possession report within 24 hours
